A LIVELY NOVEMBER WEDDING AT HOLMES MILL
Jordan and Jake’s November wedding at Holmes Mill was one of those days where the focus was never on perfection or ticking boxes. It was all about energy, connection, and celebrating properly with the people they love.
From the moment the day started, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a traditional, slow-paced wedding. Everything happened at Holmes Mill, which meant the day flowed effortlessly from start to finish, without any rushing around or awkward transitions. The atmosphere stayed relaxed, social and genuinely fun all day long.

Kind words
From start to finish, an amazing experience
“Sasha was amazing, from the first call to our pre wedding shoot to on the day. The process was so smooth and she took the time to really get to know both myself and my partner. Having a pre-wedding shoot helped us both feel comftable with Sasha along with figuring out what type of photos we would prefer for our big day. Sasha got all photos to us so fast and we have had constant compliments for how good the pictures were on the day. Sasha you truly have a talent and thank you so much for making our day so special xx”
— Jordan & Jake
A day focused on people, not posing
Jordan and Jake didn’t want their wedding to feel like a photoshoot. They preferred to spend their time celebrating with family and friends, keeping couple portraits short and natural, no more than ten minutes in total. Having already had a pre-wedding shoot, they felt relaxed and confident, knowing they could simply enjoy the day and let moments unfold naturally.
A lively celebration at Holmes Mill
Keeping everything at Holmes Mill gave the day a natural rhythm, with no rushing or tight schedules. The venue was beautifully styled by Willow & Fig, and the Holmes Mill team were attentive throughout, always keeping things running smoothly without ever being intrusive.
snowflakes and a brilliant ceremony exit
After the ceremony, Jordan and Jake were showered with artificial snowflakes instead of traditional confetti. What a fun and unexpected choice that suited a November wedding perfectly. It created a light-hearted, energetic moment as they walked out together, with guests laughing, cheering and fully caught up in the excitement.
Entertainment that kept the energy high
There was no shortage of things for guests to enjoy throughout the day. During the wedding breakfast, a live wedding painter captured moments as they happened, alongside a photo booth and a caricature artist. Later on, guests made full use of the private bowling area, which quickly became a favourite and kept the atmosphere lively and social.
A fast first dance and a packed dance floor
True to form, Jordan and Jake kept their first dance short - lasting under a minute:) …before inviting everyone straight onto the dance floor with them. From that point on, the evening became one big celebration, with a full dance floor, plenty of movement and a brilliant party atmosphere.
A lively, people-focused wedding day
From start to finish, this was a wedding full of laughter, movement and genuine moments. Jordan and Jake created a day that felt effortless and relaxed, focused on being present and making memories rather than following tradition, and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph.
