In February, I had the pleasure of photographing Aaya and Salih's beautiful wedding at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire. This special celebration was a vibrant blend of cultures and traditions, marked by three distinct ceremonies.
The day began with a unique first look, where Aaya and Salih greeted their guests together. The first ceremony was traditional, followed by a Sudanese ceremony honouring Aaya's roots, with both donning traditional attire. The final ceremony celebrated Salih's Eritrean heritage, with Salih changing into traditional Eritrean clothing.
This action-packed, dry wedding was filled with music, dancing, and joy. Merrydale Manor was the perfect venue, the staff were incredibly helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly. I always enjoy working at Merrydale Manor, and this wedding was no exception.
